Danielle Ojeabulu of Heart to Heart Coaching, LLC –
Helping Women to Realize and Manifest God’s Awesome Plans and Purposes
“’Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
“That’s one of my favorite verses,” said Danielle Ojeabulu, quoting Proverbs 19:21. Danielle, a Christian life coach and owner of Heart to Heart Coaching, LLC continued, “When God has His hand on our lives and when we are obedient to His plans, there will be success. I firmly believe that God’s plans and purposes are for good and not evil and it is our responsibility to get into His plans,” she continued. “When we get on the wrong path, we encounter trials and tribulations, but He can get us back on the right track. This does not mean that following God’s plan is easy though.”
Danielle’s mission is to help women of all ages and from all occupations to discover their purpose and to take the action steps that enable them to do what God has called them to do. Her gifts of discernment, intercessory prayer, prophecy and her ability to ask the right questions of her clients, are what make her a success. In addition, whether it is through her life coaching business or her running an eco-friendly business that helps her clients make their home and body a healthy place, she continually demonstrates her passion to help others. Although she cares about all people, her specific calling is to help women.
“As a life coach, I have a passion for seeing women reach their potential,” Danielle said. “I am about empowering women to see beyond their circumstances and letting them know they can do all things through Christ. I find so much joy in seeing women do well,” she continued.
Danielle’s crystal clear vision of seeing women achieve success in the plans and purposes that God ordained for them, stems from struggles that she has overcome – struggles that had to do with her identity as a woman. A highly successful and intelligent college student, Danielle graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Hampton University in 1993. Ready to take on the world with her spirit of success, she discovered that she was pregnant out-of-wedlock. No longer in a relationship with the father, Danielle allowed her pregnancy to draw her closer to God. As a result of both yielding to God and remembering the challenges that she faced in her own youth, Danielle realized that part of her purpose on this earth was to help girls overcome their own personal challenges and life struggles.
“I want to help girls understand the value and benefit of keeping themselves pure and delaying relationships until they are ready for marriage,” Danielle stated.
Her desire to help young women is leading her to form a non-profit organization designed to help inner city girls in New Orleans. As a part of Heart to Heart Coaching, LLC, this non-profit organization will coach girls in small settings. In addition, the organization will provide counseling, “real talk” sessions, etiquette training, pampering, birthday celebrations and other fun activities.
Danielle is blessed to have seen the hand of God on her life during many occasions. For example, it was God who introduced her to her husband Charles Ojeabulu in 2006. Already having planned to go to the mission fields in Nigeria, Danielle had received a prophetic word from an individual to proceed to get her passport. Her then pastor, Pastor Eric Thompson, Sr. of Wayfaring Ministries in Manchester, Connecticut received confirmation after having prayed for Danielle. Pastor Thompson told her that someone was there waiting for her. The individual whom Danielle was supposed to meet was Charles.
“Charles and I had an instant spiritual attraction when we met, and we both knew that we were supposed to be together after I returned to the states,” Danielle said. Nine months later, they married, without having courted and she spent roughly a year and a half going back to Nigeria to visit him.
Danielle has seen the hand of God on her life not just during her introduction and marriage to Charles, and the birth of her children, Jabari, Israel, and Judah – but also in the way that she received her calling to coach women.
“I received it from the Holy Spirit,” Danielle said. She was on a weekly prayer line, pressing in, seeking God with all her heart, soul, mind and strength and on disability after having been afflicted with illnesses before and during the birth of her second child in 2008. Danielle, who had made an excellent living in pharmaceutical sales, had lost her job in 2009, while in the midst of receiving disability.
“God what am I supposed to do?” Danielle asked the Lord.
Miraculously, God spoke to her through many people, including different women who told her she would make an excellent life coach. After receiving confirmation after confirmation, Danielle took the matter to God in prayer, conducted her research and then attending a seminar that taught life coaching. Unfortunately, she ran into some new age teachings at the seminar. Her disappointment did not cause her to give up, but to spend more time in prayer to see if life coaching was really what she was called to do. She found the Professional Christian Coaching and Counseling Academy out of Cape Coral, FL. Danielle was impressed that the president had taken the time to pray for her to see if she would be a good fit, and to pray to see who her trainer would be. As a result, Danielle enrolled, studied, got her certification and began coaching. After she and her family moved to New Orleans, she established Heart to Heart Coaching, LLC and has been coaching women without looking back.
Danielle is currently working on her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, which she will complete in 2012. She attends Fulfilling the Gospel Ministries International in Marrero, Louisiana and is looking forward to coaching women across the country and around the world.
“The passion is there. I am excited about what God has called me to do. As a Christian life coach, I see it as a ministry and an opportunity to give God glory,” Danielle said.
